Hong Kong & Shanghai travels
Hong Kong views are timeless. For me standing at the Victoria Harbour View looking at the Hong Kong island skyline is one of the most amazing views in the world. The narrow strip of water where large cargo, junks and cruise ships navigate past. There is a particular type of light in Hong Kong which makes the buildings of Hong Kong Island look chalk pastel coloured. Then at night the explosion of lights and a light show. This shot was taken from the hotel I was staying at in Kowloon and at the peak on Hong Kong island. The cable car ride to Lantau island is a scary one if you don’t like heights but it was well worth it to see the Buddha at the top of the mountain.
Shanghai a city that still covets the traditional while always embracing the new. There were many factory visits to find the right one! A skilled team who would love and care for these jackets as much as I did. Finding the right buttery lamb leather quality that would be feel so good when worn. Sourcing endless gem trims, where each one picked needed to be perfect.
