Pretty Special
Eurostar Train Pretty Special Journal Header

When my alarm clock used to go off at 5.00am Monday morning, I so wanted to turn over and go back to sleep. Instead I knew I had to catch the London train to make sure I was in time for the Eurostar at St Pancreas. I’d never planned to work in France but it was another adventure along my career. My French is very limited to ordering tickets and asking for a drink so an interpreter at meetings was very welcome. Headquarters situated in Roubaix, a small town in Northern France near Lille, working with the French and Belgium team. There are quite a few memories I have and not really work related but it’s always the small things I find you remember.

The laughs over a carafe of red wine at night, the amazing cakes for lunch, the Christmas Markets in Lille, learning to work in another part of the world besides from actually putting ranges together. I often find it’s the things you see and experience which enrich your life and make it much better.
Just wish sometimes it could have been the train to Disneyland πŸ™‚ x

We love to hear about the months and years, memories and stories, that become buried deep into every crease, stitch and groove of our jackets.
